Course description
Taught in Spanish, the course studies Spanish American writers of the 20th century by emphasizing short stories and novels from the last 50 years. Uses literary texts to gain an understanding of Latino cultures, societies, and values.
This course I have taken with DR. Fernandez when I learn about literature and why the writers are writing they never or short story and I learned about their experience and life. Also, I learned about Realism, Naturalism, Modernism and others. In this class I learned about the Argentine Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortazar, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and other who are important in the world literature. Moreover, this class was about to identified literary figures in the stories of our writers.
